LEFTALIGN…

When you invoke this command from the XTRA menu, it prompts you to click on a field. It then left-aligns 
(left-justifies) the text of the next field you click 
(unless you invoke some other command first). 

If you use the command button in the right margin to invoke this command, no prompt will be given, on the assumption that you are using the buttons in order to work more efficiently than you can with menus, and don't want to be annoyed with prompts.
